No, it is a separate visit with no treatment: a conversation, an assessment and a plan. An assessment and a contraindication check are also part of the first treatment visit — people book a separate consultation when they would rather talk the plan through first.

About the treatment
About the treatment
It is a short, separate visit with no treatment. The specialist asks what you would like to change, looks at the area or skin to be treated and checks for contraindications. By the end you know which treatments on the centre’s menu suit you, in what order to have them and what they cost on the centre’s price list. The consultation is free and takes 15–20 minutes.
Not everyone needs one: an assessment and a contraindication check are part of the first treatment visit anyway. A separate consultation is for people who would rather talk the plan through first and decide afterwards — for example, if this is your first treatment of its kind, you are unsure which one to choose, or you want to know in advance whether anything rules it out for you.
During the meeting the specialist asks about your goal and your health — long-term conditions, pregnancy, any medication you take — examines the area and answers your questions. No special preparation is needed; it simply helps to have the names of any medication to hand, especially hormonal ones and painkillers, as the specialist will ask about them when checking contraindications.
After the consultation the decision is yours: you can book the treatment straight away or later — online, at a time that suits you. The consultation does not commit you to anything. If the specialist notices a contraindication, they will tell you plainly and, if needed, advise you to see a doctor first.
