Yes. We remove only what you mark — usually the neck and the line below the outline; the beard outline itself stays. We agree the borders at the examination, before the first flash.

About the treatment
About the treatment
The chin is treated in men when the lower border of the beard needs cleaning up and the growth that runs down onto the neck and blurs the line has to go. As with any contour work, marking comes first: the border is agreed before the device is switched on, because hair that has been removed cannot be brought back and the edge of the beard cannot be raised again. The hair here is among the coarsest on the face and grows very densely, so the power is set higher than on a woman's area and the passes are kept short. The skin on the chin lies directly over bone, and the pulse is felt more distinctly than on the cheek. The area is done as a course at 4–8 week intervals.
The goal here is not smoothness but shape: the beard stays, only its edge is cleaned up, and it stops creeping out between shaves. A separate benefit is ingrown hairs: they appear under the jaw most often, and as there is less hair the reason for them goes too. On average 6–10 sessions* are needed, and with dense men's hair more visits are required more often than with women's. Preparation: shave the area the day before or on the day of the visit, no waxing or tweezers for 2–4 weeks before the session, and come with clean skin — no balm, beard oil or perfume. And 2–4 weeks without strong sun or a tanning bed.
* Average course — the exact number of sessions is determined individually.

How the visit goes
Step by step: the treatment
- 01Skin preparationFor 2–4 weeks before: no tanning, sunbeds, waxing, sugaring or tweezers; the day before or on the day, shave the area with an ordinary razor.
- 02Phototype and settingsThe specialist determines your skin phototype and sets the device accordingly; a cooling gel is applied to the skin.
- 03SessionThe handpiece passes over the area in flashes; built-in cooling keeps it comfortable. For most people growth slows and some hairs shed after the first few sessions — how quickly depends on hair and skin type.
- 04AfterwardsTwo weeks without sun or sunbed; do not pull hairs from the root — shaving only. The next visit is scheduled at an interval the specialist chooses.

This is how it goes for most people — the specialist will go over your details before the session.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Beard, back, ingrown hairs — what men ask about.
Still have questions?
Book a visit — the specialist will look at the area and put together a plan.
That is what people most often come for: the less hair there is, the fewer reasons for ingrown hairs and irritation. Only a course removes the problem completely, not a single session.
Large areas are done as a course at 4–8 week intervals, on average 6–10 sessions*. The laser sees dense dark hair well, so men's areas often respond confidently.* Average course — the exact number of sessions is determined individually.
The price depends on the size of the area and the length of the session: where the hair is denser and there is more work, the price is higher. Small areas cost the same as in the general price list.
We do not work with the laser over tattoos or moles — we go around those spots or cover them. Fresh scars and skin damage need time to heal; the specialist will look at the area at the examination.
Less well: the laser follows pigment, and there is almost none in grey and very light hair. We will say so plainly before the course starts, not after payment.
The treatment takes place one to one with the specialist, and everything outside the working area is covered. For our staff this is ordinary work to protocol — including delicate areas.
