At the examination the specialist looks at your skin type and your goal — glow, tone, density, post-acne — and chooses the protocol and the depth of treatment. The examination is part of the visit, so no separate “introductory” consultation is needed.

About the treatment
About the treatment
Mediderma AZELAC PEEL with ultrasonic cleansing combines two steps in one visit: first the skin of the face and neck is cleansed with ultrasound, then an azelaic-acid peel is applied.
The first step is ultrasonic cleansing: a spatula vibrates on damp skin, loosening the outer layer and lifting impurities out of the pores. The second is a peel from the AZELAC PEEL line by the Spanish brand Mediderma: according to the manufacturer, azelaic acid regulates sebum production, normalises the renewal of the outer layer, slows the growth of bacteria and evens out pigmentation.
For skin prone to breakouts and redness, with pigmentation marks and uneven tone, that needs a pore cleanse as well as a peel. If your skin is dry and dehydrated, the specialist may suggest the same pairing with the gentle lactic LACTIPEEL; if it is oily with blackheads, with the salicylic SALIPEEL DS.
The visit starts with an assessment: the specialist checks your skin and decides whether the peel can be done today. After make-up removal the face and neck are cleansed with ultrasound. The areas around the eyes and lips are then protected and the peel is applied; light tingling or warmth is a normal reaction to the acid. The specialist will tell you when and how to remove the product: with some protocols in the line it stays on the skin for several hours.
Straight after the treatment your skin may be slightly red, and over the following days there may be some light flaking — the usual course of a superficial peel. Do not rub or pick at flaking skin, use a moisturiser and apply high-factor sun protection every day; avoid sunbeds and deliberate tanning during this time. The specialist will tell you after the assessment how many sessions you need and how far apart.
Concern → protocol
Your goal — and what to choose
Choose a concern — on the right we show at once how the treatment helps and which protocol we usually take.
You care for it, but the face still looks tired
The skin looks matte and tired, as if under a film. The tone is dull and grey even when your home routine is right.
This is a guide — the specialist will draw up the exact plan at the consultation or from a skin scan.

Still have questions?
Book a visit — the specialist will look at the area and put together a plan.
It depends on the protocol. Gentle facials and moisturising treatments leave no noticeable peeling — you can go out the same day. More active ones renew the skin more visibly; when that is expected, the specialist will say so in advance so you can plan your week.
Warmth or a light tingling; the discomfort is brief. The specialist watches the skin's reaction and, if needed, uses a neutraliser and soothing care.
Stop home retinoids and acids 5–7 days beforehand — if you use strong actives, tell us in advance and the protocol will be adjusted. Before a peel — no fresh tan.
For 24–48 hours — no sauna and no overheating; do not rub the skin with your hands or exfoliate it. SPF every day, even in cloudy weather; no sunbed and no active tanning for 7–14 days. Home acids — only once the specialist allows them.
Glow is often noticeable within 2–5 days. Tone and texture change over a course, and each treatment has its own interval. Ultrasonic cleansing: approximately 2–4 weeks, depending on the condition of the skin. Peel: usually 1–2 weeks, but we always take into account the type and intensity of the specific peel. Microneedling: approximately 3–6 weeks, depending on the depth of treatment and how the skin recovers. Rejuvenation / lifting: once every 3–4 weeks. We set intervals not only by the calendar — we check whether the skin has fully recovered after the previous treatment; the plan is drawn up at the examination for your goal.
About herpes, inflammation, pregnancy, increased sensitivity and medication — this matters before the start, so that a safe protocol can be chosen or the visit rescheduled.
