You can book, but the visit starts with an examination: the specialist looks at the area and says whether the treatment is suitable now. If it is not, you will be told plainly and offered something else — or not taken on.

About the treatment
About the treatment
Mesotherapy is not a single product but a method: substances the skin needs are delivered with a fine needle straight into its middle layer, where a cream applied to the surface does not reach. The formula is chosen for your skin’s needs — it may contain hyaluronic acid, vitamins, amino acids and other components; the specialist will tell you at the consultation what will be used for you. Mesotherapy does not change facial volume or features: its aim is the quality of the skin itself.
It is chosen for tired and dull skin, dryness, loss of tone, fine lines and an uneven complexion. There are three area options on the menu: face; face and neck; face, neck and décolletage. The skin of the neck and décolletage is thin and changes along with the face, so they are often treated in the same visit.
The treatment is carried out by a suitably qualified specialist and only after an assessment. They examine your skin, ask about your health, medication and allergies, and check for contraindications — these include pregnancy and breastfeeding, inflammation, a rash or broken skin in the area, allergy to any component of the formula and a number of chronic conditions; if in doubt, they will ask you to consult a doctor first. If needed, a numbing cream is applied beforehand. The skin is cleaned with an antiseptic, a series of tiny injections is made across the area, and a soothing product is applied at the end.
Straight after the visit there are pinpoint injection marks, mild swelling and redness — these usually fade within a few hours, sometimes a day or two; small bruises may appear. Until the next morning do not wash your face, touch the skin or wear make-up; for a week avoid saunas and steam rooms, and use sun protection every day. The specialist will tell you after the assessment how many sessions you need and how far apart.
